• Coaching focuses on you, and helping you take effective actions to get to where you want to go. 
• The coach does not dictate what you should do - but will sometimes offer suggestions.
• Coaching is an interactive process that focuses on you, and helping you take effective actions.  (the coach does not dictate what you should do)
  
• Coaches can work with clients in all areas including business, career, finances, health and relationships.Some coaches are more specialized and some are more "generic".  Coaching is all about the process.
  
• Coaching helps clients take more action, make better decisions, and more fully use their natural strengths.
• Coaching helps people who are already good at setting and reaching goals, to reach their goals more quickly, and with more efficiently than usual.
• Coaching can help clients get unstuck by asking good questions, offerring honest feedback, challenging limiting assumptions and suggesting strategies and actions. 
  
• Accountability is a key piece of what makes coaching so effective.  Knowing that your coach will ask you how you did on your action steps is often a great motivator to getting them done.
