Carmen has ten years experience as a Career Counselor, Coach, Supervisor and Program Manager.
A note from Carmen:
I chose to name my business Climb Higher due to my love of nature and of mountains in particular. I greatly enjoy hiking and I've hiked a number of the Adirondack High Peaks. The view from the top of a peak fills me with wonder and puts things more clearly in perspective. Although I enjoy hiking, I have to admit that hiking uphill is not something I am naturally drawn to do. It challenges me to deeply access my motivation, strength, endurance and, most importantly, a belief that I can do it. The reward when I reach the top is that I feel so alive and connected physically, spiritually and mentally.
It's my belief that the journey of self development is similar to climbing a mountain. With the right mental tools and support it is amazing what each of us can accomplish. To get there, we have to be willing to step out of our "comfort zone". My goal is to help people access knowledge, tools and support for their individual journeys.
Life is precious and the opportunites are all around us to tap into our true spirits. There's no better time than now to "Make your life a conscious endeavor".
